The Queen of Hearts is what this year’s theme of Chiara Boni’s SS20 Collection drew their theme from. The woman who is well rounded from a country girl to city girl chic. She embodies style and grace but sometimes likes to be edgy but yet can be laid back and comfortable in her own skin.
There were many prints and patterns presented such as a beautiful butterfly, as well as looks that are trending such as animal, cowgirl hats and cowboy boots. The colors were bold and daring. A strong offering of black and white pieces were shown from gowns and dresses to jumpsuit and separates. Refreshing colors of sherbert and pistachio came down the runway in solids as well as incorporated into ikat prints. Fabrics ranged from lucious satins to comfortable jersey knits.
The brand definitely thought about who can and would wear their clothing. From what I saw there was something for the millenial to glammothers (glamourous grandmothers). If you can appreciate funky, stylish and fabulous this is for you!
