In 1986 Son Jung Wan opened her first Boutique in Gangnam, Seoul, Korea, and her trajectory hasn’t stopped since. Wan has mastered the duality desired by most women. Her design esthetic is pretty and feminine, yet chic and sexy. This season’s “Over the 50’s” collection begins with a bright green wool jumpsuit, featuring a plunging neckline, along with a matching plaid sleeved wool coat, with a delightfully surprising open back detail.
To close, a white quilted asymmetrical gown with an eye catching zipper accessory. Among my favorites included a bronze high collar gown with ruffle details and plunging open back. Son Jung Wan’s impeccably crafted dresses stood out amongst the Autumn Winter 2020 scene, every look was perfection.
