Born in Baku Azerbaijan and titled Best Model of Azerbaijan in 2000, Rufat Ismayil has delivered yet another epic line for the world to see. There is no doubt that this model, turned creative designer brought elegance and grace onto the NYFW runway with his line Khari Bul-Bul. Unlike last season’s “The Butterfly Effect” that displayed intricate sequins detail and embroidered bodices, he brought lots of fun and flare this time around. Each of his feathered and whimsical pieces exuded confidence and sets the tone for wanted attention. The garments are sexy, yet playful and reminds me of something that would be seen on Beyoncé or J. LO.
