As you come into the room the rows are filled with pink little bags filled with boxes. As you find your seat or perfect standing position fun flirty music is playing and people mix and mingle. The people you see in the room are a bit more expressive than other shows you enter into. They’re dressed in fun pops of colors and influencers are sprinkled throughout wearing the latest I Love Pretty Collection. As the room gets quiet as the show starts a lyrical song starts and the looks start to hit the runway. With the overall theme being a softer play on edgy looks it kind of reminds me of a futuristic movie set.
The daring but sweet pieces are made up of sparkles, sheer fabric, sexy bodices,
tulle, and even velvet. Even the menswear isn’t your typical look. As sneakers
and sandals continue to be a constant accessory in the days fashion show, the
chain metal inspired looks and zoot suit jackets steal the show. My personal
favorite piece was a crush blue velvet bodice with matching flare pants and a
pink tulle shoulder accent piece. Xiaojuan Yang decides to step all the way out
of the box and made a wonderful play land of sexy but sweet clothing that can
take the person wearing it for an enjoyable ride of confidence and fun.
