DB BERDAN
“Translucent Transparency” … the best way to describe DB BERDAN’s presentation. Utilizing futuristic next level pieces and silhouettes, they managed to construct the next Judy Jetson with layers of PVC, mesh, and form-fitting blue dresses! This young, queer, urban lux London-based label employed lots of whimsical pops and layers to create a truly free-spirited A/W20 collection topped with Lil Mama’s catwalk stomp as the cherry on top.
Hakan Akkaya Furs
Hakan Akkaya’s spectacular A/W20 collection took the cake by reimagining the traditional pants suit! The runway was dominated by zoomed-in houndstooth and fur that swayed in the breeze. By employing gigantic geometric patterns and bright metallic silhouettes highlighted by chunky fur moments, Hakan Akkaya to create an amazing presentation that will not soon be forgotten.
Simay Bülbül
Simay Bülbül’s A/W20 collection was quite a sweet & savory showing. She manages to seamlessly marry her known core esthetic of “Bohemian Elegance” with leather & lace to complete her vision. This fantastical presentation of elegance and individuality highlights the sensual female form while commanding respect through power.
